Number Two – Becoming the Big 12’s all-time leading rusher
Before Cedric Benson, former Longhorn running back Ricky Williams had the most all-time rushing yards in the Big 12. In the 2004 season, Benson ran for 1,834 yards and broke that record, having 5,540 career yards. Both him and Williams are the only players in Big 12 history to have over 5,000 career yards in the history of the conference.
