Cincinnati Bengals center Trey Hopkins tore his ACL during Sunday’s season-ending loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Bengals coach Zac Taylor confirmed the news Monday during a presser.

It’s a sour point atop the 38-3 loss in which the defense coughed up 404 rushing yards. Hopkins had been a bright spot for the team all season after the coaching staff finally shoved aside the Billy Price experiment.

Now Hopkins will have to spend his offseason rehabbing and the team will have to think about making multiple additions to the interior of the offensive line this offseason.

Hopkins, alongside left tackle Jonah Williams, was one of the lone bright spots for the future along the line in front of Joe Burrow.
