Bears Week 3 inactives: Nate Davis active, won’t start vs. Chiefs

The Bears have released their inactives ahead of today’s game vs. Chiefs, where RG Nate Davis is back.

The Chicago Bears have released their inactives ahead of their Week 3 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, where Chicago desperately needs a win as they look to snap an active 12-game losing streak.

The Bears will be without their top safety Eddie Jackson, who was previously ruled out with a foot injury suffered in last week’s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

While right guard Nate Davis is back after missing last week’s game due to a death in the family, ESPN’s Adam Schefter indicated he won’t start. He’ll be available as a backup, if needed, as he continues to deal with a personal situation. The Bears offensive line is already down two starters in left guard Teven Jenkins and now left tackle Braxton Jones.

Wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown is a healthy scratch for a third consecutive game, and running back D’Onta Foreman is out for the second straight week.

Here’s a look at the Bears’ inactives:

  • S Eddie Jackson
  • WR Equanimeous St. Brown
  • QB Tyson Bagent
  • RB D’Onta Foreman
  • S A.J. Thomas
  • DL Daniel Hardy

Also, a look at the Chiefs’ inactives:

  • CB Nic Jones
  • LB Nick Bolton
  • DE BJ Thompson
  • OL Wayna Morris
  • T Lucas Niang
  • DT Keondre Coburn

The Bears and Chiefs kick things off at 3:25 p.m. CT on FOX.
