Former Baylor forward Kendall Brown on Friday signed a two-way contract with the Indiana Pacers ahead of the 2022-23 season, the team announced.

Brown, who was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman team, averaged 9.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and one steal last season. He finished with three double-doubles and nearly registered a triple-double on Nov. 15 with 13 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds versus Nicholls State.
The 48th pick played with the Pacers in the Las Vegas Summer League, averaging 9.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, two steals and 1.8 assists in five games. He turned in his best performance on July 15 with 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field.

Brown will split his time this season between Indiana and the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA G League. He is eligible to spend no more than 50 games in the NBA and will earn a flat salary equal to 50% of the minimum salary applicable to a player with zero years of service.
The Pacers begin their preseason schedule on Oct. 5.
