- The Longhorns dropped an 80-79 game at home against the Oklahoma Sooners last Tuesday. That contest marked a return to action after a nine-day layoff, and then Texas had its scheduled Saturday game against Kentucky canceled. So, UT has played just once in the last 16 days.
- Baylor owns a robust 43.4% mark on nearly 25 3-point attempts per contest. Distance shooting, coupled with big turnover and rebound margins and an above-average pace of play, has the Bears averaging 87.3 points per game.
