The Badgers football team wrapped up their regular season 7-5 and they’re set to take on LSU in the Reliaquest Bowl on Jan. 1, but first, cornerback Ricardo Hallman was named as an AP All-American on Monday.
Hallman earned Third-Team All-American honors by the Associated Press after he finished the year with 24 tackles and six interceptions, one of which he returned for a 95-yard touchdown, while also deflecting five passes over the team’s 12 games this season.
The cornerback’s selection to the All-American team marked the third consecutive year where a Badgers defensive player was chosen, joining Nick Herbig (third team in 2022) and Leo Chenal (second team 2021).
