Auburn climbs up in the latest coaches poll

The Tigers keep climbing.

Another good week for Auburn baseball is in the books as they head into the final week of the regular season. The Tigers are coming off a two-game sweep of the Alabama Crimson Tide at Plainsman Park. The final game was ruled a no-contest.

With the latest run by the team, Auburn jumped up two spots to No. 18 overall in this week’s poll update from USA TODAY Sports. In SEC news, the Tennessee Vols remained at No. 1 and the Arkansas Razorbacks fell to No. 5. The Texas A&M Aggies jumped up five spots to No. 11 and the LSU Tigers and Georgia Bulldogs round out the bottom of the rankings at No. 24 and No. 25.
