Four-star, Top 50 prospect [autotag]Jalen Shelley[/autotag] announced his commitment to the Hogs on Monday after taking an official visit to campus over the weekend. He’s the first pledge for the 2024 class and on of the top prospects from the state of Texas.

The 6-8 forward is currently playing for Link Academy in Branson, Missouri, which fans may recognize as the same place that former Razorback Jordan Walsh was recruited from. Like Walsh, Shelley is a long and lean wing who has great athleticism. He can guard multiple positions at the defensive end and is a major threat when he gets out in transition.

Shelley’s commitment is big for the 2024 class as Musselman continues his streak of adding high-level high school talent to complement his experienced returners and transfer classes.
