In this version of their mock draft, The Athletic used its college football writing staff to do the analysis. And they came to the same conclusion others have reached recently: Treylon Burks is a top 20 pick next month.
Burks would give Jalen Hurts another talented option and bring versatility to Philly. He has the frame to be another Deebo Samuel, lining up at every WR position, at tailback, and occasionally as a wildcat QB. And if Hurts still can’t get it done with that collection of wideouts, the Eagles should not find it too difficult to recruit a free agent QB to town next offseason – especially in the now-QB-deficient NFC.
