Andre Iguodala calls Boston’s Jrue Holiday ‘the most underrated player of this generation’

Iguodala highlighted Holiday’s consistent excellence on both ends of the court as well as off of it.

Legendary Golden State Warriors wing Andre Iguodala recently labeled Jrue Holiday as “the most underrated player of this generation” on an episode of the popular ESPN show “First Take,” heaping praise on the new Boston Celtics floor general.

Iguodala highlighted Holiday’s consistent excellence on both ends of the court as well as off of it, and the UCLA alum’s unique ability to elevate any team’s performance, regardless of their standing in the league. Iguodala emphasized that Holiday’s exclusion on one of the All-Defensive Teams year after year is a testament to his underappreciated talent on that end of the court despite his historic defensive stops in the postseason. Having witnessed Holiday’s potential during their time together on the Philadelphia 76ers, Iguodala commended his distinct skill set.
