The Bengals won the AFC North with a stirring win over the Chiefs

The Cincinnati Bengals clinched the AFC North crown on Sunday in stunning fashing, toppling the Kansas City Chiefs, 34-31, on a field goal as time ran out at Paul Brown Stadium.

When you put Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes on the same field, you expect to get plenty of offense. The QBs delivered, combining for 705 passing yards and 6 TDs through the air.

How did the Bengals manage to pull off the victory with Burrow on the sidelines, no less?:

The Bengals couldn’t score on three tries inside, tried a fourth down pass, got a holding call on both teams and they went for it again on fourth down and on the incompletion wide receiver Tyler Boyd drew a flag.

But Burrow went off the field limping on his right leg. Backup Brandon Allen came on, spiked it twice and Evan McPherson kicked them into the playoffs with a 20-yard field goal at the gun.
