1974: Marvin Barnes

The late Marvin Barnes was drafted second overall by Philly. He never played a game as a 76er, opting for the ABA. Barnes was one of the most colorful and controversial players of his time. Barnes eventually made his way to the NBA but his issues were far greater than his play by then.
