1997: Keith Van Horn
The Sixers had the second overall pick in 1997 and chose 6-foot-10 forward Keith Van Horn out of Utah. They immediately dealt Van Horn to the Nets in a massive deal along with Michael Cage, Lucious Harris and Don MacLean in exchange for the draft rights to Tim Thomas and Anthony Parker and player contracts of Jim Jackson and Eric Montross. Van Horn eventually did play one season in Philly, 2002-03, and he averaged almost 16 points per game.
