Alabama women’s basketball makes history in an 88-70 win over Vanderbilt on Thursday night!

Kristy Curry and the Alabama women’s basketball team made history on Thursday night with its 88-70 win over the Vanderbilt Commodores.

The win notched the 20th of the regular season which is the first time that the women’s program has accomplished that since the 1997-98 season. The win also gave the Tide nine regular season SEC wins which is the first time that has been accomplished since the 1997-98 season.

Brittany Davis helped lead the Tide to victory with her stat-stuffing performance. Davis finished the game with 16 points, eight assists, five rebounds, and five steals.

Alabama is now fourth in the SEC standings with a 20-6 overall record and a 9-4 conference record.

Up next for the ladies is a road trip to Starkville on Sunday to take on Mississippi State.
