The Alabama Crimson Tide clinched the weekend series over the Arkansas Razorbacks after an incredible 9-1 win on Sunday at Rhoads Stadium in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama had to bounce back with wins on Saturday and Sunday after losing game one on Friday, 1-0.
On Saturday, Alabama responded with an incredible 10-2 shutdown that ended the game in the 6th inning. Alabama’s Jenna Johnson was one of the offensive leaders for the Tide who went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a solo home run in the sixth inning. Other big hitters on Saturday were Alexis Mack and KB Sides. On the mound, Lexi Kilfoyl recorded 6 strikeouts, four hits , and one walk.
On Sunday, Alabama sealed the deal with an impressive 9-1 win also ending in the 6th inning. Offensively, Skylar Wallace, Alexis Mack, and KB Sides had a combined 8-for-10 with five RBIs. Freshman Karla Hice also drove in the game-ending RBI for the second-consecutive game in the bottom of the sixth.
Alabama moves on to Alabama (14-8, 2-1 SEC) while Arkansas drops to (17-6, 1-2 SEC).
Up next for the Tide is the T-Town Showdown March 12-15 in which Alabama will be hosting BYU, Texas and Bryant.
