Patrick Murphy and the Alabama softball team will get their season started in less than two weeks and already the anticipation is building. Along with the anticipation are expectations for this 2022 bunch.
To add even more expectations it was announced yesterday that for the third straight season, Alabama was voted in the SEC Softball Preseason Coaches Poll as the favorite to win the SEC.
The expectations are not surprising considering the Tide will return college softball’s most dominant pitcher in Montana Founts along with a plethora of other talented players.
