Alabama MBB receives first-place vote in latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll

Tide Hoops stays at No. 4, but earns a first-place vote!

Alabama men’s basketball is on a tear. With only two losses on the season, Nate Oats and his team are trending toward being a top seed in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.

In the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll, the Crimson Tide’s spot doesn’t move from last week’s No. 4 ranking. However, Alabama did land a first-place vote.

Houston is currently the top-ranked team with a record of 17-1. at the time of ranking. That one loss was courtesy of Brandon Miller and the Crimson Tide.

With the in-conference schedule rolling, Alabama will have to take it one game at a time before celebrating. Plenty of challenging games remain for this team.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Alabama basketball as the 2022-2023 season continues.
