Alabama men’s basketball, with an overall record of 22-3 and a conference record of 12-0, is the best team in the nation. In the latest Associate Press Men’s Basketball top-25 poll, the Crimson Tide ranks No. 1.
This is the first time in 20 years that Alabama has been the top-ranked team in the nation. With only a handful of games left to be played, the Crimson Tide could hold onto it through the remainder of the regular season.
A key road win over Auburn, paired with a Purdue loss, is what helped boost the Crimson Tide two spots in the right direction.
Nate Oats and Alabama will travel to Knoxville to take on the No. 10 Tennessee Volunteers in a must-see matchup.
