Alabama MBB falls out of top-10 in latest Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll

Nate Oats and the Crimson Tide fall outside the top-10.

Alabama basketball is coming off of an amazing 2020-21 college basketball season, where the year ended with a loss to UCLA in the Sweet 16. Now, Nate Oats and his team began the new season ranked, and even managed to move up into the top-10.

With a record of 6-1, the one loss being to Iona, the Crimson Tide now fall to No. 16 in the nation, according to the latest Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll.

Other SEC teams in the poll include Arkansas at No. 9, Kentucky at No. 10, Florida at No. 12, Tennessee at No. 15 and Auburn at No. 20.

Coming up, Alabama will face a tough stretch in their schedule, beginning with Gonzaga Saturday, Dec. 4.
