Alabama beats Troy 11-8 in late night thrill from Tuscaloosa Regional

Alabama baseball wins a late night thriller 11-8 over Troy!

For the second night in a row, the Alabama baseball team delivered an emotional, hard-fought win to fans of the Crimson Tide. After a walk-off RBI single on Friday night from Jim Jarvis against Nicholls, Alabama made a ninth-inning comeback over Troy to defeat the Trojans 11-8.

In the top of the ninth with two outs and trailing Troy 8-7, Alabama had runners on second and third when Tommy Seidl hit a routine grounder to short but the throw to first was off allowing the two runners to score and giving Alabama a 9-8 lead. Alabama would add another pair of insurance runs to give them an 11-8 lead heading into the bottom of the ninth where Alton Davis II earned the save.

Here is how it went down!

Alabama will now face the winner of Boston College vs. Troy late on Sunday night for a chance to win the Tuscaloosa Regional!
