For the second night in a row, the Alabama baseball team delivered an emotional, hard-fought win to fans of the Crimson Tide. After a walk-off RBI single on Friday night from Jim Jarvis against Nicholls, Alabama made a ninth-inning comeback over Troy to defeat the Trojans 11-8.
In the top of the ninth with two outs and trailing Troy 8-7, Alabama had runners on second and third when Tommy Seidl hit a routine grounder to short but the throw to first was off allowing the two runners to score and giving Alabama a 9-8 lead. Alabama would add another pair of insurance runs to give them an 11-8 lead heading into the bottom of the ninth where Alton Davis II earned the save.
Here is how it went down!
