Aidan Hutchinson dominates in Lions win over Falcons

Huge game for Hutch! #ProBlue

Wolverine legend Aidan Hutchinson was back to his game-wrecking ways in Sunday’s 20-6 home win over the Atlanta Falcons.

The second year player flashed early, forcing a sack in the first quarter on a pressure that pushed Ridder into the arms of Derrick Barnes.

Hutchinson has been applying pressure all season, but had yet to register a sack until late in the game. The floodgates opened with six and a half minutes left in the fourth quarter when Hutch got to Ridder on first down, putting the Falcons behind the chains to start a crucial drive. His second of the game came just a few minutes later of a sack fumble which Hutch was able to recover to officially seal the game.

Hutchinson put up a dominant stat line featuring four total tackles, two fourth quarter sacks, one TFL, two passes batted, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one QB hit.

Hutchinson’s two sack performance also made him the first player in history to register 10-plus sacks and three interceptions in his first 20 career games.
