New York Giants sixth-round pick Rodarius Williams has been getting a lot of love throughout training camp and deservedly so.
Williams has not only flashed among his fellow rookies, but he’s earned himself some first-team reps in practice and looks quite the part. He’s impressed his coaches and his teammates, including cornerback Adoree’ Jackson.

“It’s just impressive,” Jackson said of Williams’ no fear attitude. “I don’t want to say it’s rare or nothing, but that’s just the way he is. It’s good to have that. He doesn’t waver, he doesn’t change, and he does what’s got him here and it’s working, so I like that about him.”
During Wednesday night’s Fan Fest practice, Williams again stepped up, knocking a potential Daniel Jones touchdown pass out of the hands of the speedy Darius Slayton.

Williams is so well-coached and ahead of his time, Jackson admits watching his game to see what he can adopt for himself. There is no higher praise than that.
“I like his game, what he brings, his enthusiasm, his competitiveness. He’s a dog out there, man. Every day at practice, I say, ‘you know who I came to see.’ I come to see him work, see him play,” Jackson said. “Like, I watch him and everything that he does. I’m just trying to improve, and see what he does, and I try to add it to my game, so I appreciate having him. It keeps everybody on edge. So, he’s talented player, he’s special. I just like seeing him go out there and competing.”
As a rookie, there’s still a lot of development to take place for Williams, but he’s making the most of each day and inching closer to a spot on the active roster.
