Former Vol Admiral Schofield re-signs with Magic.

Admiral Schofield is returning to the NBA with Orlando for the 2022-23 season.

The former Vol re-signed for a two-way contract. He will split time between Orlando and Lakeland, the team’s NBA G-League affiliate.

Schofield played with the Magic on a two-way deal last season. He was signed in September and released a month later.

He was later signed to a pair of 10-day contracts before agreeing to a two-way deal in January.

Schofield played in 38 NBA games last season and made one start for the Magic. He averaged 12.3 minutes, 3.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game.

Schofield also played for Orlando in the recent NBA summer league in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He averaged 18.5 minutes, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game.

Schofield played for the Vols from 2015-19 and was a First Team All-SEC standout in 2019.

He was drafted in the second round of the 2019 NBA draft by Washington (No. 42 overall).
