There were few players in the country who did more for their draft case on the field than Wisconsin ILB Leo Chenal in 2021. The Badger State native totaled 55 solo tackles after having 44 solo tackles in his first two seasons combined.
His junior season also saw him rack up 8 sacks and earn First-Team All-Big Ten honors.
Now, Chenal’s attention is turned towards the 2022 NFL draft, which is set to begin on Thursday. On Sunday, ESPN senior writer Jeff Legwold named Chenal one of the biggest risers in the 2022 class.
The Badger star has worked his way from a player who many thought would still be in Madison for his senior season to someone who will almost assuredly be off the board on Day 2 of draft week.
