A reminder of who the Bucs’ 2020 opponents will be

The NFL is set to release it’s full 17-week schedule next week. Find out who the Buccaneers’ opponents will be in 2020.

With the NFL set to release a full 17-week schedule late next week, teams can finally start to get an idea of how their 2020 season will unfold (hopefully).

While the league’s plan may seem optimistic right now given the uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic, it will at least provide some structure and clarity for them to work from.

For the Bucs, the 2020 season will be hopefully end a 12-year playoff drought, and with six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady under center, Tampa Bay looks ready to contend.

While we’ll have to wait until next week to find out the Buccaneers’ schedule, we do know who their opponents will be at least.

Here’s a quick reminder:

HOME: Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, Los Angeles Chargers, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Rams

AWAY: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers and New York Giants

Fortunately, for the Bucs, Brady has had success against each of these opponents. (To see his record and stats versus each, click here.)

The home slate looks insanely brutal, especially when you consider the Bucs will be facing five quarterbacks who have played in a Super Bowl. Regardless of how those games are scheduled, it will be a tough home season for the Bucs either way.

Good thing they have a quarterback now who knows a thing or two about winning big games.
