4 takeaways from the Browns’ 2023 schedule

What are the biggest takeaways from the Browns’ schedule?

The NFL released the league-wide schedule last week, and for the Cleveland Browns, it has led to quite a bit of uproar. While they possess the seventh-easiest schedule in the league from a strength of schedule standpoint, the sequencing of the games gives them an immediate sense of urgency from Week 1 on. And this may not be a bad thing for a team looking to get back into the playoffs for the first time since 2020.

What are the biggest standouts and takeaways from the Browns’ 2023 schedule? Here are four talking points that provide the most emphasis as the Browns get back to work.

First, the Browns will go on the road to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night in Week 2. Then as the season comes to a close, the Browns will once again play in a prime-time game, taking on the New York Jets on Thursday night in Week 17.
