A mic’d up Bill Belichick shows his frustration with officiating against Broncos

Bill Belichick was not pleased with the officials on Sunday, and let the officials hear about it

In what was a difficult loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was not happy with the officiating. It was just one of the many things that did not go the Patriots way Sunday, as they lost to the Denver Broncos by 18-12 score.

In particular, the coach did not like the way the Broncos offensive line was playing. He thought they held the Patriots defensively, and was looking for a few penalties throughout the course of the game. In a “NFL Week 6 Mic’d Up!” video, it was clear the Patriots coach was having a rough day.

“Scott, we’re getting tackled there on that play-action,” Belichick said, which was featured in this week’s NFL Game Day All Access. “I don’t know how you let that go when they tackle him from behind. On this play-action right here about the 40-yard line on the last drive.

“… I mean, he tackles him. C’mon, man. Like, this (Broncos offensive) line, all they do is punch in the face and hold.”

As the team gets set to take on the San Francisco 49ers, the Patriots will look to have their fortune improve as the 49ers come into town riding high off a big win over the Rams.
