Round 2 | Jeff Gladney, TCU
Gladney, the 5-foot-10 and 191 pound corner lacks the ideal measurements for the position, but he has adequate transition skills, great instincts, closing speed, football intelligence and a scrappy mentality, projecting as a long-term starter in the NFL.
A four-year starter with the Horned Frogs, Gladney recorded 146 total tackles, 37 passes defensed and five interceptions. In 2018, he was named Second-Team All Big-12 and the following year, he earned First-Team All Big-12 for his efforts.
BIG fan of Jeff Gladney's match-and-mirror ability in single coverage, but his play recognition/instincts also stand out in off concepts.
Love this play — he starts at the LOS, patient to attack the flea-flicker and puts himself in position for the pick.pic.twitter.com/rz3JS5tElg
