Ohio State football signs FCS defensive line

The Ohio State Buckeyes have added Logan George to their roster for next season, signing the defensive end from Idaho State.

Ohio State football has a rich history of developing some of the best defensive lineman in the world. Players like Nick Bosa and Chase Young spent their college days in Columbus.

Logan George is going to try to make a name for himself at Ohio State as well. He has officially signed with the Buckeyes and will play next season in Columbus.

George, who was a standout defensive end with FCS side Idaho State, tallying 19.5 tackles for a loss which led the Big Sky Conference. The 6-foot-5 rusher played and started in all 12 games for the Bengals.

George, per the Idaho State’s bio, set a career-best tackles for a loss against Idaho Vandals with four. He also spent the 2023 season with the Bengals and will take his talents more mainstream into the new year.

It is difficult to known what to expect from George, but Larry Johnson clearly saw something special in the massive defensive end.

With all four defensive lineman from Jack Sawyer to JT Tuimoloau being seniors, adding the extra depth at the position should only bode well for Ryan Day and his squad.
