It’s official. Ohio State lost to Michigan once again, its fourth-straight in the rivalry and now the players, coaches, and fans are left to pick up the pieces. OSU head coach Ryan Day knows what this game means and was clearly devastated afterwards when he met with the media to face the music.
Day lamented the inability to run the ball, execute in the red zone, and ultimately, do enough to win and send all of those seniors that came back for one more season out the right way.
It was a vey solemn press conference for Day, and we have the entire thing here in case you missed any of his comments. The video is courtesy of the CBS affiliate, WBNS 10TV in Columbus.
Watch and listen to Day as he answers questions on his future, the inability to adjust on offense with the game plan, the postgame brawl that occurred after Michigan tried to plant its flag at midfield, and more.
Ohio State will now look to see what its College Football Playoff seed will be moving forward. The season is not over, but the team will have to try and move forward after a crushing defeat.
