CBS Sports analyst explains why he’s taking Indiana over Ohio State

One CBS Sports analyst is taking the Indiana Hoosiers over the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday. Here’s his explanation as to why.

Ohio State football will welcome the undefeated Indiana Hoosiers to Ohio Stadium in Columbus on Saturday. The game is being featured as part of FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff series.

That said, the Buckeyes are widely seen across betting markets as a double-digit favorite, but CBS Sports’ analyst Aaron Taylor isn’t buying the hype as he’s taking the Hoosiers to win outright.

Why would he go for the upset?

Well, he outlines his points below, but the most notable reason is that he believes the Hoosiers defensive line will abuse the Buckeyes offensive line. Ohio State’s starting center, Seth McLaughlin going down for the season with an Achilles tear during practice certainly won’t help to argue against Taylor.

The Buckeyes have used their offensive line to their advantage numerous times throughout the season, and in their only top-five win, they stuffed the ball down Penn State’s throat late in the game.

Ohio State may not have that capability against Indiana on Saturday. While no one can predict the future, Taylor’s rationale at least makes sense, so let’s hope the Buckeyes offensive line can hold strong in this primetime battle.
