Twitter explodes after Ohio State’s massive road win vs. Penn State

The Ohio State Buckeyes came in as the lower-ranked team, but they dominated Saturday. Twitter loved it.

Ohio State went to Pennsylvania to take on the No. 3 Penn State Nittany Lions. The Buckeyes closed as a 3.5-point favorite despite being ranked as the 4th-best team in the country.

Will Howard’s first-quarter pass returned for a touchdown didn’t start the game on a good note, but Ohio State bounced back well. The Buckeyes took a 14-10 lead into the half and ended up winning 20-13, allowing just three points in the last three quarters.

The Buckeyes were led by Ole Miss transfer running back Quinshon Judkins. He ended up with 95 rushing yards on 14 carries. The offense was led by Howard, who ended with 182 yards, 55 of which were to Jeremiah Smith.

It was an impressive performance for the Buckeyes, and Twitter ate it up. That said, let’s break down some of the best tweets from the top-five battle.

First off is James Frankin’s record, and let’s just say it was among the most-talked about aspects following this battle.
