You should take the Yankees on the run line Friday night. They’ve been hot lately, winning 3 of their last 4, including their last 3 against the Red Sox. Thursday’s 2-1 win was the 1st time they beat Boston by a single run this season; they usually win with more breathing room.
Both starters are coming off injuries, but New York’s bats have been heating up, hitting 10 points better since the All-Star break. Plus, with a 40-32 home record and a need to protect their 2-game lead over the Baltimore Orioles in the AL East, the Yankees are primed to cover the run line.
