Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Padres vs. Mariners odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: Mariners lead 2-1

The Padres registered a 7-3 victory against the Mariners in the interleague opener Tuesday behind RHP Yu Darvish as a slight underdog (+112) as the Over (7) connected.

In interleague play, San Diego has cashed in 4 of the past 5 games while going 11-4 in the previous 15 tries against the American League. The Over has hit in 3 straight while going 10-2-1 in the past 13 tries vs. AL teams.

For the Mariners, despite Tuesday’s setback, Seattle has won 4 of the past 6 outings. The Over has hit in the past 2 games while going 8-3-1 across the past 12.

Against the National League, the M’s are just 5-9 in the past 14 tries, although they’re 14-5 in the past 19 home interleague battles.

Padres at Mariners picks and predictions

Prediction

Mariners 3, Padres 2

Moneyline

The MARINERS (-108) are worth a look in the series finale behind Woo. The Seattle right-handed starter has been nearly untouchable at T-Mobile Park, posting an amazing 4-0 record with a 1.50 ERA in 42 IP across 7 starts.

While Woo’s numbers make the M’s look like a slam-dunk play, King has been solid for the Padres (-108), too, and the odds indicate that this is truly a coin flip. But, based on Woo’s slightly better splits at home than King’s numbers on the road, you have to side with Seattle.

Run line/Against the spread

Mariners +1.5 (-205) is just too expensive on the run line, if you require insurance and perhaps are a little spooked by their loss in Tuesday’s interleague series opener.

However, you can’t risk more than 2 times your potential return. If you like Seattle, just bet it straight up.

PASS.

Over/Under

UNDER 6.5 (+100) is worth a roll of the nice at even-money, as we should have a pitchers’ duel in SoDo.

King has tremendous splits on the road, posting 8 victories and a 2.83 ERA, while Woo has a 4-0 mark with a 1.50 ERA at home this season. Neither of these guys are going to concede much. Go low, and feel confidently in doing so.
