Former New York Giants edge rusher Jason Pierre-Paul remains unsigned but he doesn’t intend for that to continue much longer.
In an X post on Sunday, JPP not only made it clear he’d like to play in 2024 but also offered up an impressively confident and bold prediction.

The 35-year-old Pierre-Paul appeared in just three games last season, splitting time between the New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins. He recorded two tackles.
It’s clear that JPP is on the downside of his career and much closer to retirement than anything else, but he’s looking to go out in a big way — much like Michael Strahan in 2007.
The three-time Pro Bowler, whom the Giants selected in the first round of the 2010 NFL draft, has appeared in 182 career games (150 starts), recording 631 tackles, 167 QB hits, 94.5 sacks, 21 forced fumbles, 66 passes defensed, five interceptions, and three defensive touchdowns.
Although JPP has generated little free agent interest this offseason, it’s possible that changes after final cuts or deeper into the season when injuries begin to take their toll on rosters around the league.
