The Ohio State Buckeyes have had a slew of talented safeties come through Columbus over the last decade, and there is another that appears set to make his decision soon.
Messiah Delhomme, who is a four-star recruit from Newport News, Virginia, is ranked as the No. 4 player from the state of Virginia, and the 115th-best player nationally. He is the 11th-best safety in the Class of 2025.
Per Bucknuts’ Bill Kurelic, Delhomme plans to make his decision soon and was extremely excited when his offer did come.
“I got the offer from coach Ryan Day and I had the biggest smile and was truly grateful for the offer,” Delhomme said via Bucknuts.
While the Buckeyes have the No. 1 composite rank class, they only have one nationally-ranked safety already coming to Ohio — four-star recruit Faheem Delane. Delhomme is another name that could be paramount to beefing their secondary, one set to lose many key players after this season.
#OhioState target @DelhommeMessiah will soon announce his college choice.

Delhomme is being recruited by Matt Guerrieri and is expected to make his decision soon. He also has offers from Maryland, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Syracuse — all of which appear to be in the race as well.
He visited Maryland, OSU and Virginia in June.
