It wouldn’t be an NFL game without talking about some former Ohio State players. However, despite so many former Buckeyes in the league, there haven’t been too many of them make a big splash in the Super Bowl.
That has changed so far in Super Bowl LVIII thought, because former OSU defensive end Chase Young has made his presence known off the edge for the San Francisco 49ers, notching an impressive sack on Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.
The play came at the ten minute mark of the first quarter when Young got around the edge and collapsed the pocket on Mahomes on a first and ten back in K.C. territory.

Young and Bosa have both been disruptive for the Niners in the first half, making Buckeye Nation proud, but there’s still a long way to go. Here’s to hoping there’s more from the dynamic edge duo in the second half.
