Springer was traded from Philadelphia to Boston for a 2024 second-round draft pick. He was selected by the 76ers in the first-round of the 2021 draft (No.28 overall).
He played at Tennessee during the 2020-21 season and was a member of the Southeastern Conference All-Freshman Team.
Dallas traded Grant Williams and Seth Curry to Charlotte for forward P.J. Washington.
Williams played for the Vols from 2016-19 and was a two-time SEC Player of the Year. He was selected by Boston in the first-round of the NBA draft (No. 22 overall).
