Transfer running back Quinshon Judkins likes the Columbus community so far

Ah, the Honeymoon period … #GoBucks

It’s never easy picking up your life and moving to a completely new area of the country. Especially when you are from the South and come up to live in longer and deeper winters up North.

That’s exactly what Ole Miss transfer running back Quinshon Judkins did during the offseason. Ohio State convinced him to transfer to Columbus, and he’s been getting himself acclimated ever since he made the choice and arrived on campus. Based on comments Judkins made at a transfer player media availability on Tuesday, he’s liking things so far.

When asked about his thoughts on Columbus and Ohio State, Judkins is clearly still in the honeymoon period.

“The fans here are very passionate. Everywhere you go they have Ohio State on, they talk about the football team all day, they know everything,” Judkins said. “I think the community here is very welcoming.”

Just wait Quinshon. You might want to use another word besides welcoming when you fumble a ball in scoring position, at least when it comes to some of the more vocal fans out there (you know who you are).
