The last few days have been very good for Ohio State football. Several top draft prospects have announced they will return for the 2024 season. One Buckeye, however, that won’t be returning is star wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
The 2023 Biletnikoff Award winner announced on Thursday that he has declared for the NFL Draft. The son of NFL Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison, the younger Harrison is considered one of the best wide receiver prospects of the last decade.
For the Buckeyes, the Philadelphia native recorded 150 receptions for 2,495 yards and 31 touchdowns. This past fall, Harrison recorded 67 receptions for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns in 12 games. He also had over 1,200 yards in 2022 over 13 games.

While Harrison Jr will be off to the NFL, likely as a top-five draft pick in this year’s upcoming NFL Draft, the Buckeyes will be returning wide receiver Emeka Egbuka next fall. Egbuka announced his plans to return to Columbus on Thursday.
