With Xavier Worthy, Adonai Mitchell, and Jordan Whittington all declaring for the NFL draft, the Texas wide receiver room will have a lot of new faces in 2024.
Former Oregon State wide receiver Silas Bolden is expected to visit Texas this weekend, and it could be a massive addition from the transfer portal.
Bolden is 5-foot-8, 157-pounds but don’t let his size fool you. He accounted for 746 receiving yards and five touchdowns in 2023, leading the Beavers in the former category.
Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian added Adonai Mitchell last season, and he proved to be a valuable asset to the Longhorns’ receiving room. This year, Texas has already added Matthew Golden via the portal and will have five-star signee Ryan Wingo joining the team.
If Texas can land Silas Bolden, the receiving room will put a lot of worry at ease when they enter the SEC.
