The Buffalo Bills were thrilled to leave Kansas City with a win on Sunday, especially after one of the wilder touchdowns we’ve seen was negated by a Kadarius Toney offensive offsides penalty. The play almost left Bills quarterback Josh Allen at a loss for words.
While Patrick Mahomes was uncharacteristically livid in his postgame greeting with Allen, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce had cooled down by the time he met up with the Bills quarterback. In fact, Allen made a point to compliment Kelce on the unexpected decision to lateral the ball over to Toney to which Kelce had a gracious reply.
NFL Films picked up the postgame exchange at Arrowhead Stadium.
"That was the craziest —- I've ever seen in my life." – Josh Allen

Allen told Kelce:
“That was the craziest (expletive) play I’ve ever seen in my life. Like, holy …”
Kelce responded:
“Craziest one that’ll never count. Hey, stay healthy, baby. Keep doing your thing.”
And that right there was partly why the Chiefs were so upset. Kelce had just made one of the best plays in his career — a potential game-winning play — and an offsides call that had no impact on the play negated it. But there’s no faulting the officials as Toney was offsides, and he never checked with the side judge.
Fans appreciated how Kelce handled the exchange. It was a stark contrast from Mahomes.
