The New York Giants defeated the Washington Commanders 14-7 Sunday from MetLife Stadium. It was Washington’s fourth loss in five games, dropping the Commanders to 3-4, with the Philadelphia Eagles coming to town next week.
Much like most of their performances this season, another slow start doomed Washington. The Commanders punted seven times in the first half and turned the ball over once, finishing with just 46 total yards.
Washington began to move the ball in the third quarter, scoring its lone touchdown. In the fourth quarter, Washington had back-to-back 80+-yard drives end with zero points after a missed field goal on one drive and Jahan Dotson’s drop to end the game.
