When skill players have a huge game, they’re often quick to give plenty of credit to their offensive line. After all, good blocking makes the job so much easier for an entire offense.
Lamar Jackson definitely owes Ronnie Stanley some appreciation because the Ravens quarterback is never scoring an easier touchdown.
During Sunday’s Week 7 game between the Ravens and Lions, Jackson cruised into the end zone for a touchdown off a ball fake in the first quarter. And really, all he had to do was lightly jog behind Stanley. That was since Stanley locked in with the Lions’ Kerby Joseph and completely removed him from the play with a devastating block.

Stanley has about 115 pounds on Joseph, and it showed as he carried Joseph out of the back of the end zone. It also looked like someone working on the sidelines got taken out at the end of the block.
But that matchup was just unfair. There’s nothing Joseph could have done there, and it had NFL fans making plenty of jokes.
