Bills quarterback Josh Allen had an injury update to provide following his team’s win over the Giants on Sunday night in Week 6.
Allen indicated after the 14-9 final that his shoulder was looked at. Allen left the game but quickly returned.
The QB noted he had “pictures” — X-rays — taken of his shoulder.
“A little bit of pain there, but we’ll be all right,” Allen said.
A positive update came from head coach Sean McDermott, too.
“All [X-rays] are normal so far,” McDermott said via video conference.
Overall, it was a heavy downplay regarding the injury from both player and coach. Even so, Allen’s status heading into the Bills’ Week 7 matchup against the Patriots will be watched very closely throughout the coming week.
