Well that was fun. Ohio State came off a bye week as though it had staggered out of a Thanksgiving buffet fully stuffed and unable to move during the first half against an undefeated Maryland team. The lack of execution and effort had all of Buckeye nation worried and anxious about the potential of an upset on Saturday afternoon.
Luckily, Ohio State eventually figured things out and went on a scoring barrage to wrestle the game away and win pretty much going away by 20 points, 37-17. A quick look at the odds even confirms that the Buckeyes covered the Vegas spread at the time of kick off, so take that for what it’s worth.
