#Bills’ Sean McDermott on Matt Milano, DaQuan Jones injuries: ‘Not looking good’

The word, quite literally, from Bills head coach Sean McDermott regarding the latest injury situation is not good.

In losing to the Jaguars (3-2) 25-20 in London, the Bills (3-2) lost two important pieces of their defense due to injury. Linebacker Matt Milano was carted off after a knee injury and defensive lineman DaQuan Jones has a pectoral problem.

Regarding both, McDermott had bad news upon taking the stage for his post-loss press conference.

“Not looking good,” McDermott said.

McDermott fell short of declaring anything certain, but at least in terms of Milano, reports indicate his season could be over. Once the Bills arrive back home from London, the team will likely issue updates.

McDermott went on to call the injuries “setbacks,” but added there is confidence in depth options at linebacker behind Milano.

“We’re confident in Dorian (Williams) and TDot [Tyrel Dodson] going out there,” McDermott said.
