Lady Vols record fifth consecutive sweep

Tennessee volleyball records fifth consecutive sweep.

No. 14 Tennessee (11-1, 2-0 SEC) defeated Kentucky (3-7, 1-1 SEC), 25-23, 25-18, 25-18, at Memorial Coliseum in Lexington, Kentucky.

The victory is Tennessee’s fifth consecutive sweep and the Lady Vols’ first win versus Kentucky since 2016.

Morgahn Fingall recorded 17 kills, 10 digs and four blocks for Tennessee. Erykah Lovett totaled 12 kills and 13 digs, while Jenaisya Moore recorded 12 kills against Kentucky.

Caroline Kerr led Tennessee with 44 assists and Yelianiz Torres totaled 13 digs.

Tennessee’s only loss of the season was against Wisconsin in five sets.

The Lady Vols will next play Friday at Mississippi State in Starkville, Mississippi. First serve is slated for 6 p.m. EDT and can be watched on SEC Network+.
