The Oregon Ducks defensive line had a lot of fun on Saturday afternoon.
In a game where the home team, ranked No. 11 in the nation, beat the away team, ranked No. 19 in the nation by a margin of 36 points, an enjoyable time was had all around. However, it was the defensive line that likely had the most fun in a 42-6 beatdown after racking up 7 sacks on the day.
With all of the hype and talking coming into the game about the Colorado Buffaloes and Deion Sanders, it’s clear and obvious that Dan Lanning and the Ducks wanted to quiet the noise. A video of Lanning’s pregame speech made that abundantly clear, and some comments from players after the game — particularly DL Brandon Dorlus — supported that theory.
Here is some of what Dorlus had to say after the game.
